For many people from low-income countries, labor migration is the best chance to escape poverty. However, these vulnerable populations have extremely few opportunities to legally migrate for work.
LaMP seeks to create better opportunities for migrant workers from low-income countries to access quality jobs across borders through safe, reliable and rights-respecting mobility pathways.
We learn from the workers’ experiences first-hand and incorporate their perspectives and migration goals into our programming. Our goal is to implement migration programs that protect and provide better outcomes for all workers, while ensuring orderly and dignified labor migration flows between the source and destination countries.
