Pall Kvaran serves as a Manager with LaMP´s private sector solutions team, helping build market-driven solutions to challenges within migration systems. Amongst other things, Pall currently leads initiatives in the Americas and sub-Saharan Africa, building and deploying low-cost tools to help market players incorporate worker voice into their decision making.
With over 10 years living in sub-Saharan Africa, Pall has experience conceiving, designing, and prototyping pro-poor finance solutions including rural worker payments, remittances, merchant payment pricing strategies and rural delivery mechanisms. Pall has broad cross-sectoral experience having worked with local and multinational companies , mobile network operators, banks, government institutions, and NGOs. He also co-founded a successful craft brewery in Uganda.
Pall has an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Oxford and an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Bifrost University. Pall is based in Spain.
