Complementing this work, he is currently founding a startup dedicated to leveraging technology to connect talent worldwide, aiming to facilitate seamless cross-border migration and address the opacity of traditional employment processes.
Previously, Michi spent four years at Google, where he drove substantial revenue growth for Japanese clients through Google Ads and forged strategic partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region as a versatile marketing specialist. His career foundation includes impactful tenures at the microfinance startup Gojo & Company and as a digital marketing specialist at a travel startup, providing him with deep expertise in financial inclusion and global marketing. His professional passion is deeply rooted in creating a virtuous cycle of economic empowerment and sustainable growth.
Michi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Management from Keio University, where his research on IPO trends and startup growth strategies was published in collaboration with SMBC Nikko Securities. Based in Tokyo, his commitment to LaMP’s mission is driven by firsthand observation of the systemic challenges foreign nationals face in the Japanese labor market, fueling his resolve to engineer equitable and transparent mobility solutions.
