Julia is a Partner based in Fragomen’s London office. She specialises in Global Government Strategies and Compliance. In an increasingly challenging geopolitical environment, Fragomen’s unique Advisory Practice supports clients worldwide to optimise global mobility strategies, enhance compliance and leverage best practice in all critical immigration-related policies including crisis management.

Before joining Fragomen, Julia was a Partner, Legal Markets Leader and Head of Global Immigration at PwC leading complex multi-jurisdictional client engagements and providing strategic global immigration advice. Julia has unique experience in crisis management. She has advised several governments particularly on visa processing systems and communications and on citizenship by investment programmes. Julia has been liaising with government and business on Brexit and has given expert evidence at the European Parliament. She has also represented business at the Prime Minister’s immigration stock take meeting and acted as an advisor to the Home Office on business, investment and growth.

Julia is a member of SHRM’s Immigration Speciality Panel, a member of the Board of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Julia is also a member of the Mayor of London’s Brexit Advisory Group and the Home Office’s Employers’ Stakeholding Group. She is the co-signatory of the London First Report on the impact of migrant workers in London and a Report entitled “Global Britain”. Julia sits on the Advisory Board of Migration Matters Trust, the Permits Foundation and the Migration Museum and is the Chair of the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute Charitable Trust.
