In her capacity as Director of Financial Solutions & Corporate Partnerships, Elicia Carmichael designs and implements Results Based Financing solutions to address global migration challenges at scale. She leads collaborations with corporate partners and networks of impact-oriented finance entities to launch market-based solutions that benefit both industry and populations seeking to improve their livelihoods.
Prior to joining LaMP, Elicia was VP of Strategy for Root Capital, where she led the innovation and business development functions in service of their $100M impact investment portfolio. In her 20+ years of experience, Elicia has served in leadership positions for both businesses and nonprofit entities, with oversight of teams and activities across the globe. Elicia holds an MBA from Cornell University, where she focused on Sustainable Global Enterprise, and a BA from Colby College, where she majored in International Studies. Elicia is based in Maine, U.S.
