Jason Wendle is a Director at the Global Development Incubator (GDI), where he has played critical leadership roles designing and building new organizations for the last 5 years. Jason has served as Director of Strategy and Programs for the recently-launched Global Fund to End Modern Slavery (GFEMS), which prioritizes private sector engagement to develop ethical alternatives in sectors affected by forced labor, and its largest area of programming is in the area of overseas labor recruitment.

Before GDI, Jason was an Associate Partner in the Nairobi office of Dalberg Global Development Advisors, where he spent seven years providing strategy advice to clients across a broad range of sectors. Jason holds an MPA/ID from Harvard’s Kennedy School and has published and presented work on smallholder finance, SME banking, and impact measurement.
