Laurel Hart is LaMP’s Strategic Communications Manager, based in London, UK. She works at the intersection of advocacy, communications, and policy development, shaping how labor mobility is understood, communicated, and acted on.

At LaMP, Laurel leads the organisation’s communications strategy – driving engagement and influence, shaping the organisation’s global voice, and bringing change communications expertise to projects across its portfolio. Laurel has played a central role in developing LaMP’s UK program, leading communications and stakeholder engagement strategies to shape the policy conversation around migration system reform – including direct engagement with UK parliamentarians and sector leaders.

Before joining LaMP, Laurel served as a Senior Policy Advisor in local government, led high-impact migration policy reform campaigns at BusinessLDN – a leading UK business group – and drove national and international campaigns and policy development at United Nations Association – UK, with a focus on human rights and atrocity prevention.

Laurel has held senior leadership roles in the arts and heritage sector and consulted on strategic communications for organisations at different stages of growth. She holds a first-class BA in History from the University of Bristol, where she also mentors undergraduate students.
